Ids...british Food Stamp Project

Recommended Posts

Food parcel projects are springing up all over the place here in Wales.

When I was a nipper free food for the poor in my local village -free butter, corned beef, etc. - and now a food parcel project has come here. There have been several food thefts of late in the locality - not nice stuff - spar sausages and the like - I think people really are struggling to afford food.

Where America leads...

There's a rather big difference between a change in rules to allow a charity to distribute food parcels on top of people's existing benefits via government offices and a system where food is given instead of cash.

Personally, I think IDS should be working on a "Sky Stamp" scheme.

Why should those on low-incomes or benefits be denied the right to watch premiership football and other mindless pap? Also, how about a minimum LCD panel size too, it's not fair that those living in council provided rented accommodation are only able to afford 40" panels... won't someone think of the children?!!!
