Hpc Slightly Delayed By Mugs

Recommended Posts

HPC is happening, but it is slightly delayed in its full impact, perhaps by a few months, by the phenomenon of

M.U.G.S (Monumentally Unaware Gullible Simpletons)

They are not in great numbers (currently only about 99% of the adult population) but they are a significant enough body of people to delay the full onset of a house price crash.

This is a particularly vulnerable small group of people (about 30 million of them) who against all medical advice are suffering, without any treatment, from a debilitating disease called:

N.A.I.V.E (Negative Attention In Valuation Enumeration), a newly discovered syndrome whereby despite every obvious sign, repeated advice from their doctor and almost no real funds available, they have a compulsion to buy properties, anywhere from the size of a garage up to a mansion, at grossly inflated prices.

This serious illness has the added disadvantage of being capable of being transmitted very quickly throughout the previously unaffected population, largely by a virus which is almost unstoppable in its virulence. Boffins at medical research centres have named the virus:

M.E.D.I.A (Mendacious Entrapment by Defective Information Assumption).

It is not known if there is a long term cure for the syndrome, but the effects can be devastating. Some recent examples have been highlighted, including the willingness of sufferers to buy any absurd property such as:

or

http://www.shop.edirectory.co.uk/ross_esta...street&cid=1520

or

or perhaps even:

It is hoped that the impact of the disease will be overcome in the near future, but meantime hospitals, surgeries and rest homes throughout the UK are at critical over capacity and on permanent red-alert in dealing with what NHS professionals have described as an epidemic in a peculiar side effect of the M.U.G.S phenomenon, known as E.D.P ( Extended denial phase).

A Downing Street spokesman close to Number 10 appealed for calm, at least for the period in which the Prime Minister's personal homes were languishing in negative equity. Anyone aware of the M.U.G.S syndrome in either a friend, relation, journalist or politician should immediately alert the authorities without delay.

this can only be topped by my emptyness and complete social isolation....

(plus my party trick of wearing white face powder and lying down in front of a mirror, pretending to be dead.)

oh come on RFD - your "time" is imminent.

also you have that white powder and mirror thing all mixed up
