If you didn't see it watch her try to wriggle out of it.

If you did see it, cheer yourself up and watch it again.

" I have nothing more to say" from the hypocrite who has plenty to say about everything else.

Even Portillo is cringeing with embarrasment.

I saw this. Brillo really turned on her.

Then there was the "goodbye" montage at the end.

Has she been dropped from the show? If so, why?

I thought this was going to be a porn thread - vicars and nuns that sort of thing.

You need to let it go. It's not good for your mental well-being.

That article was written before Hazel Blears appeared a couple of weeks ago. She was dire, no independent thought or opinion.

I expect Abbott is leaving to try and get the leadership, well.... make a token effort anyway, and I suppose it would be unfair if she was on a weekly show. Balls and the Miilipedes have been on various shows on TV and radio but I haven't noticed Andy Burnham yet.

I think it might be Thetford forest.

Seriously though happy? did you think that was a good, bad or indifferent interview from her perspective?

I confess I've never been a fan - didn't watch it.

Queer sort, London type.

That's what I was thinking - I really hope she wins. She is bloody clueless - the simple fact that as black woman she can be called racist by a white man in our PC society and him not get lynched speaks volumes.

+1

It's a shame the Black Farmer didn't get in. I think it's these sort of people that will advance black people's standing, not tired old clinging-to-victimhood cliches like Abbot.

Wot? Rich city-type who got out before it blew up to 'live the dream' of a gentleman farmer?

Don't we have enough amateur farmers in politics with Charles Windsor?

Yeah, but his produce is actually really good and award winning. Any black person that doesn't speak cod-sociological drivel about racism, oppression, slavery, diversity and just gets on with it in a society where racism's about as meaningful as phrenology to the last couple of generations is a good thing.

Didn't Abbott get £3K a pop for that TV show?

Judging by the register of her interests, she seems to earn between about £2.5k to £4k per month from This Week when the show is running. Her hourly rate for doing this seems to be about £280 (where each show seems to be deemed to represent about two to three hours of her time as far as I can tell). So, maybe an average of around £750 or so per show?

"Well...... Andrew"

"It's not unusual for an employer to pay for a taxi home late at night"

Hmm, I'll ask the late staff at the 24hr garage if they're getting an employer funded taxi home.
