House Prices Down Again In August...!

Recommended Posts

Mr Wriglesworth adds, “It is now taking an average of nearly two months to sell a house compared with just over five weeks in August last year, and we are forecasting only 3% inflation over the next year [2006]. While there is still little chance of a crash, another housing boom is unlikely for at least the next three years. Over the short term sluggish but stable is the most likely scenario.”

But, but, I don't understand...

It's different this time...

New Paradigm...

No more boom and bust...

Surely we've not been fibbed to?

Steady as she goes. We will get this good ship HMS Property Market into port before any approaching gale.

I personally like

House prices have failed to respond to the recent interest rate cut, and continue their stagnating negative trend,

So, is a stagnated trend or a negative trend?

But it is different this time because last time they never told you it would be different that time so this time by stating that it is different this time it is different this time.

Something like that anyway.

Is it just me or is Tony looking more and more like Prince Charles every day?

Nope, your not the only one. When that forehead, eyes and ears were pearing over the bottom of my monitor I too thought it was Charlie boy, and then got a shock when in fact it was Mr "You can't trust me!" himself!
