Plenty visitors, Im living about 8 miles away at the mo. in the case of the sun--downer cafe lease, rents on top of lease purchase costs and rates and fuel mean that you would have to clear £300 per week to make ends meet by my calculations, over the 5 years of the lease.

If you can get every customer to spend £2.00 you could break even on 35 customers a day over 6 day week. Then if you want to make a profit, that turns into whatever, say 70 customers to earn you £300 additional, so like you would need a customer coming in every 6-7 minutes averaged over the 4 seasons. Not going to make you rich I wouldn't have thought, but it would be interesting to know what tale the books tell.

I think if these sorts of businessses were whoopee goldmines they would sell to relatives or friends ?
