Hot Weekend Ahead

Recommended Posts

Guest X-QUORK

I'm knocking off at lunchtime and we're heading to a little village near Aberystwyth for the weekend...found a tiny campsite which allows campfires, and best of all...it's not officially open until July so we'll have it to ourselves hopefully.

What are you lot up to?

You're telling me. Heat index of 49 centigrade on Sunday.

My wife's grandfather would call that "bitter".

Good god, is nothing sacred? I suppose that's the facebook generation for you: doubtless you'll be tweeting a blow by blow account of all your intimate acts

What are you lot up to?

Mind your own business you dirty knave!

A little bit of fishing on Stradbroke Island for me or a hike up Mount Superbus failing all that I might hire a 4WD and go off road.

It's bloody cold over here...Oh the irony.

Catching up on work not done.

I think the weather is too hot. Don't want to be anywhere except in the shade.

Go to a hot country and nobody sits out in the sun all day if they can avoid it.

I have an awesome weekend planned.

AWESOME.

I wouldn't want to annoy anybody by having the audacity to share my plans though.

Don't be shy sonny, spit it out now.

The seasonally high pollen count will be ensuring I spend most of it indoors :(

Get on the homeopathic remedies. Worked for me. I did a thread on it last week.

Homeopathic remedies? Do you mean sugar pills?

I shall be cruising along the mirror surface of Poole Harbour in my canoe, a few hundred yards off the millionaire's houses on Sandbanks.

Smugly reflecting that I have all their respective panoramic views (and better) as I glide soundlessly from place to place - for feck all!

I may give Harry Rednapp's gardener the imperial wave as I pass.

I read it but it sounds too much like hard work, I'm a lazy tw@t :P

I'll probably regret it but there you go, I'll just moan instead.

You only have to take 1-3 wee pills per day. Not exactly hard work. :)

How very dare you !! Either way who cares - it works.

Cycling from Swansea to Warrington and back. Could be...sticky.

Relaxing in the garden with some white widow and a few beers. Nothing exciting I'm afraid.

Relaxing in the garden with beers sounds ace, but why spoil it by inviting Cilla over?

No. Just Swansea to Warrington and back to Swansea, the once. I feel that's quite enough for a hot weekend ;)
