Guest UK Debt Slave
As per the topic, what is a sucessful life? I've known lots of failure..... so really to quantify and put into context what do you consider to be sucess? Not worrying about what other people 'have got' is a good start. Avoid excessive debt Good friends and a good family life Everything else is a bonus You can survive a multitude of bull$hit if you have the above Never believe anything you are told by politicians and the media and plan your life on your own terms. Avoid TV and newspapers Living within your means is much easier if you don't swallow the plethora of bull$hit out there, and there's plenty of it to avoid. Good friends and / or family can innoculate you from many of the world's horrors. I would also add: "Ignore all advertising. If they're needing to advertise it, you don't need it."
