Oil Prices Starting To Hurt

Recommended Posts

Found these towards the end of an artical on the BBC. Oil prices are really beginning to hurt!

Here is the link.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4187400.stm

There is evidence that continuing high oil prices are starting to hurt consumers - including reports of US households complaining about high gasoline prices at US pumps and even attacking gas station staff.
In Africa, Reuters reports that more people are having to walk to work or school because transport costs are rising.

And, in France, the government is encouraging consumers to conserve fuel.

It is the poor in Africa I feel sorry for, but i also suspect that they will cope far better than we will, on account they do not have to haul 10 stone of excess weight around with them. ;)
