She looks normal for 43 years old. Not like some of the surgically enhanced mutants you see in the 'celebrity'news. Still deeply attractive.

She's almost certainly had plastic surgery, you don't go from this:

To this, without help from the surgeon's knife:

On a separate but related point: I'm bloody sick of the French being allowed to rewrite their WWII history. They were not our allies for most of the war. We spent a great deal of time fighting against them. We fought them in Algeria, Madagascar, Senegal, Tunisia and Syria. They bombed Gibraltar and handed Vietnam over to the Japanese without a fight so the Japanese could attack Malaya and Singapore. When taken as prisoners of war the vast majority of French troops refused to join the Allies when given the choice.

Right at the end of the war the French were allowed to become one of the occupying powers in Germany in a feeble attempt to restore their shattered national pride. Although the focus is normally put on the Russians, the humiliated French soldiers committed some of the worst acts of mass rape and other human rights abuses.

De Gaulle represented a tiny minority of the French and even he was a difficult, cantankerous, ungrateful sod. Vive La Difference.

At least Carla is Italian then and she is a hunny with too much botox but the swelling has gone down now.

The french owe a great deal to De Gaulle as they can't really bathe in there glorious Marshall Petain can they.

I never knew this. Why weren't we told this at school?

Yes, looks like the scary photo was the result of having too much botox pumped in but once the swelling/reaction had gone down she looks fine OK... Probabyl best for her to stay in a dark room for a month after the next botox appointment.

They can't teach you everything. From wiki:

On 18 July 1940, after the destruction of the French Fleet at Mers-el-Kebir by the British, the Vichy government authorized a bombing raid of Gibraltar as a response. Apparently many of the French pilots still found it hard to attack their former ally. The attack was generally half-hearted and most of the bombs were dropped in the sea. Little damage was reported to have been done.
