That's just desperate, reminiscent of pre-regulation cigarette advertiisng.

Japanese government bonds should probably have a health warning as well.

The pimping of Mammon.

Pimping your economy for nearly 20 years does not look so clever now! Have you all read the article! Over 50% of Jap govt tax receipts are needed to pay the interest on Govt BONDS. Me thinks there is certainly a crisis coming there. No possible way to have that amount paid back, let alone serviced much longer. It si amazing that the bond markets have not stopped this already. Apparently it is only becasue the Japs buy a very high proportion of their own bonds that it has got this far.

I once bought what I thought was a jar of marmalade labelled similarly.

Not in Japan though.

I now carry my reading glasses when I go shopping.
