The return on the stimulus measures is simply not sufficient to justify them when debt is ballooning towards unserviceable levels. That's what the markets think. You will not be right when you cut the deficit because 'they' will say we are headed for double dip AND you will be wrong if you continue unabated spending claiming that the 'recovery' needs to be entrenched before any substantial cuts are made.
