Not Acceptable

A corrupt public servant gets just four years for stealing from us.

I find that this kind of behaviour is unacceptable and runs to the heart of our values.

No-one can say how widespread it is, I only worked with one or two people who I knew took bungs. To my shame, I did not grass them up, through insufficient evidence.

It used to be thought that Britain was relatively free of this, compared say, to Italy. The cases which came to light, like T Dan Brown in Newcastle, were famous cases we were led to believe were exceptional.

Anyone know of other current cases?
