Are All Houses On Net House Prices Website?

Recommended Posts

Could somebody tell me if all houses sold are put on the nethouseprices website?

I have been looking on there for houses sold in the last couple of years and a few are not appearing on there. Would, for example, houses that are bought through part exchange not show up??

Thanks

Nethouseprices has become a little bit unreliable. Properties which were on there a few months ago don't show up on my search anymore.

Ourproperty.co.uk is a better bet.

The flat i live in does not appear on there or houseprices.co.uk etc though i have not checked directly with the land registry because i think it is a chargable service. The flat was purchased by my landlord sometime at the end of 2003 or beginning of 2004 probably in a private transaction, so the flat never was on the open market. I asked here back at the beginning of the year if anyone knew if sales must be registered but either no one knew or didn't care but i recieved no answer.

Maybe someone knows now?

My Sale in Feb 2005, is not on any of them, I even emailed our proprerty with the details about 2 months ago and still its not there.

And i've found plenty more that are missing as well.

IMO the reliability of the info is poor.

And all the props I needed info on are listed with the LR as I paid for the info.

I paid the £2 to obtain my own details from my purchase in 1984.

All detailed relevant information given but one thing missing, the price I paid.

Could it be a house sold for 600k today will not tell you it was bought in 1964 for 6k. <_<

The Land Registry will only show prices for properties sold from 2000 onwards.

Ah so they believe properties are well overpriced since 2000. :D

A very subtle way in helping the present house price correction. <_<
