Cheapest Flights To Adelaide From Uk

Recommended Posts

Ok, we're off to Aus shortly for the final interview process for a couple of weeks, from the UK.

Any good tips on low low flight prices?

Is it cheaper to route via Amsterdam, or get an international flight to Sydney then an internal flight to Adelaide?

Specialist knowledge appreciated.

There are low-cost airlines internally in Oz but I imagine with the poor AUD-GBP rate they are actually not that cheap anymore. It may just be cheaper to buy a single ticket from one airline (even if they do do an internal flight anyway).

I've been looking at NZ and the cheapest flights seem to be with Asian carriers like Malaysian airways, it might be the same with Oz. The very cheapest are sometimes the Arab carriers but I would prefer to stopover in Singapore/Kuala Lumpur (maybe not Bangkok at the moment!) than Dubai.

Just research it yourself. The flight checker thing on MSE is pretty good, but also check expedia / flightcentre / trailfinders. STA travel mainly do student round the world trips so they will often have the best deals (although some are for under 26s only).

Yeah, looks like it.

I think we'll be enjoying the delights of a good few hours in Abu Dhabi.

I got here with Singapore Airlines and they were exceptionally good and not overtly expensive either (1800 quid for two return flights). Domestic flight here vary week on week, one week you can get a bargain and the next will see you shafted. From Sydney to Adelaide at the moment you are looking at around 200 Aussie dollars, return, or at todays current hideous exchange rate 115 quid.
