Lotsa dough still around in Spain then.

XswampyX
Still 15% down on 2007 then, even with a bung of 2,000 euros. New orders down 20% for next month. So that's car sales back to 69% of 2007. All for only 100,000,000 euros. Epic fail?
council dweller
Looks like car companies here are now offering 'swappage' here so you can get 2 or 3 thousand off now. Scrappage was a waste of taxpayers money and waste of cars, many were scrapped that should still be on the road.

It's because IVA is going up to 18% on 1 July so people have brought forward their purchases.
TheCountOfNowhere
Anyone any idea when the new car sales figures for the UK come out ? That's gonna be worth watching !!! I'd hazard a guess they might be somewhat lower than the previous quarters. It might start afresh the car people going to the government to ask for more free cash. As the man says tho "no money left"
lets get it right
As the man says tho "no money left" That is only relevant if the supply of money is finite. It isn't.
TheCountOfNowhere
That is only relevant if the supply of money is finite. It isn't. That's only relevant when someone is prepared to make up more money and lend it to themselves. How much more of that they are prepared to do is probably outside anyone in the U.K.s control.
