Once in a lifetime
If they can't sell it they could always mark it 'to_let'
Elizabeth
Note the fine print (in case your hoping to move in immediately with no renovations required): For clarification we wish to inform prospective purchasers that we have prepared these sales particulars as a general guide. We have not carried out a detailed survey nor tested the services, appliances and specific fittings.
pod
If that was in Dublin it'd be five times the price...!
Red Baron
This is truly taking the pith and it's bound to go down the pan. However, a potential buyer may have a sudden flush............ Meanwhile it confers a whole new meaning to the phrase "would you like to use our loo?" Edited August 24, 2005 by Red Baron
Vivaldo
Think you're all missing the point - just think of the antique value of the toilet bowls.
AteMoose
Happened last year here in worcester, a builder added a second floor, somone bought it and it is now being let out as an office and an appartment. For some reason there wasnt plannning permission for pure residential... Its located on the corner of the cemetary, and it nolonger looks like a toilet. Sledgehead
Which over-zealous EA invented the name "The Old Store" for this joke property? Just what one wonders did they envisage it storing? Still, as an address, it's a definite improvement on "The Slash Pits" Edited August 24, 2005 by Sledgehead

madenph
Off Topic I know, but you've got my all time favourite childish typo in the thread sub-title. Pubic Toilet Some other good ones... Pubic Baths Pubic Library Funny how many "official" sites make the same mistake.
