public funded visit to seedy offshore tax haven?

'In a bid to wipe the slate clean with Mr Gubay and his company Derwent Holdings Cllr Anderson has ditched lingering legal action by Liverpool city council against his company.'

'Cllr Anderson is making the trip in just his third week in office in the hope plans to build a huge retail park in Edge Lane will go ahead.'

you never know, they might even get to bail it out with taxpayers moeny in the not too distant future, which of course will create even more jobs from the scheme.
