Feels Like A "bear Stearns" Event Right Now

Recommended Posts

Just my uneducated broad brushstroke gut feeling

Dubai was Northern Rock

This current situation is Bear Stearns

SHTF in a few months time, but what will that event be?

Anyone agree?

Italy will be the Lehman...they have a totally unsustainable debt, and although they're gettng their deficit down, it's too late. It's a bit like Lehman buying 10% of the CDOs it bought at its height. Italy's debts (or Spain's fro the matter) are enough to destroy the Euro if the markets really turn on them..and they will...not eventhe Krauts can bail out either of those two.

Come on! In the true tradition of HPC doom threads, lets at least go for the biggy.

Obama is going to say to the Chinese "America will import no more Chinese goods but you have to buy 100% of American exports or else punk."

He then defaults on all US treasury debts.

Result massive HPC and we will be all living in mud huts. Admittedly some will have designer mud huts, but a mud hit it will be.

All these fools buying Gold. I have bought a Bow and 100,000 arrows. Hunter gathering here we come.
