I've been working in the garden in a T-shirt since about 09.00 I'm in the UK, so I'm not doing a 'ohh look at me being so clever and being somewhere else'

I have never seen all the flowers on strawberry plants being killed this late. Good job our balance of payments is healthy so we can fly in loads from elsewhere. What volcano? Pick It Down
ITs all that oil, damping the gulf stream. We'll have glaciers in the peak district by mid july... That should make our climate drier.. When oil covers water it reduces evaporation by 25-75%. I expect south-eastern US will be a tfair bit less humid this summer.
