It Is Bitterely Cold Today

Recommended Posts

Can't believe it is mid-May. It is bitterely cold and wet in my part of the UK.

Got that 'cold rain'. Grey miserable skies... time for a Vit D intake methinks.

Here it's cold, too, but dry. And I'm off to Spain next Wed for my Vit D intake!! :D

Woah, deja vu.

Anyway yes it's cold, but we live in a cold wet climate.

very wet and windy here at the moment - i suspect in part due to last night enormous guinness and madras intake

It's bright and sunny here. I've been working in the garden in a T-shirt since about 09.00

I'm in the UK, so I'm not doing a 'ohh look at me being so clever and being somewhere else'

I am watching everything in the garden die, slowly, from exposure. The price of fruit and veg is going to be a shock to many later this year. I have never seen all the flowers on strawberry plants being killed this late. Good job our balance of payments is healthy so we can fly in loads from elsewhere. What volcano?

Don't you just hate it when people do that?

Won't stop me doing it if I ever get the chance.

ITs all that oil, damping the gulf stream. We'll have glaciers in the peak district by mid july...

That should make our climate drier.. When oil covers water it reduces evaporation by 25-75%. I expect south-eastern US will be a tfair bit less humid this summer.

Is this physically possible?

It happens sometimes. Although about 30 minutes after I posted that it pissed down.
