Amateur Investors Bailing In Rowner!

Recommended Posts

Previousy there has been been a few flats for sale - now there are 20! Mostly there are all chain free.......something fishy going on?

For your own information:

Do a search on rightmove in "rowner"

"in this area only"

"Flats / Apartments"

"Max price "£70,000"

Rowner is a grim area of Gosport, which itself didn't have much a good reputation (it used to be called Turk Town).

There's a lot of MOD-built flats and houses here, serving the RN bases nearby.

I've lived in one of them. Horrible tacky boxes, with the same fittings as on the base...I'm surprised to see them being sold for 30-ish thousand, I wouldn't've though 15K was their actual value.

perhaps some dopey BTL-ers thought they could do well here, and have now realised their folly!

God, what a dump, no self-respecting FTB would spend their hard earned cash on those, I think the last block only exists to hold the mobile phone base stations.
