Will Ea's Be Tarred And Feathered?

Recommended Posts

Scene:

Agreeable pasture somewhere in England 1944. Luftwaffe pilot shot down and parachutes to join the cow pats. Two dear old ladies disturb their afternoon nap and don green wellies to investigate.

Pilot: "I am from ze Luftwaffe.....zey shot me down....pleaze.....are you going to shoot me".

Old Lady: "Goodness, no dear....we don't do that sort of thing in England (unless you are a Brazilian NON terrorist going about your daily business). No dear....come along with us and have a nice cup of tea".

Scene: April 2006...an agreeable village cricket pitch in Wiltshire.

EA, on the run....nowhere to hide....digs makeshift trench between the tea hut and the boundary. Two senior ladies suspend their Saturday afternoon catering duties and investigate.

EA: "I am from Foxholes...I am a refugee from spin. OK, OK we got it wrong. Please don't shoot me."

Dear Lady no.1: "Goodness no dear, we don't do that sort of thing here. How about a nice cup of tea, and then, Agatha, fetch the post, tar and feathers....now where shall we start......"

Moral of story.....don't push your luck, you VI's.

Behave :)

EAs have a job to do.

They are the grease to the supply/demand engine, nothing less, nothing more.

That engine was revving up over the last five years or so...

But they will be your most valuable allies in the next few years.

I think I am behaving quite well thanks....unlike most Ea's I have met. I can't imagine any EA, surveyor, property journalist or "advisor" ever behaving in any way other than to the detriment of the whole nation, but let's differ on that, and the fact that a more unsuitable "ally" I could not contemplate.

However, being a fair minded person, I would probably be more likely to offer a cup of tea and forget the retribution, though of course they don't deserve it.

I say that's jolly unfair to offer a cup of tea to an Estate Agent.

Have you ever seen a sober E.A.?

Answer please to Rightmove.....................
