Guest happy?
Blathering on about government "unlocking potential" through grants to industry. Isn't that the financial sector's job? If they think it'll be profitable, they'll build it anyway. We'll it would be but unfortunately the banks have spunked it all away already...
geoffk
The numbers put people off...they just turn off when numbers are churned out..

MrPin
To replace the power stations he is setting up an investment bank, Why not just build the power stations FFS You can burn the notes in your aga!
Kilham
Loved the little slip the R4 presenter just made 'There'll be more mortgage I mean budget news..' All they ever think about isn't it.

Cicero
Britains got the Nissan plant because the Japs were well chuffed with the job we did on the death railroad. "Advanced Manufacturing" = Euphemism for screwdriver assembly plants.

Dorkins
I'm no Cameron fanboy, but if he means what he says about getting the deficit and debt down then it's all to the good.

nowthenagain
Great budget from Darling. Will no doubt provide a boost to Labour. The proof is in the numbers that the Brown/Darling plan is working. Camerons rant was pathetic. If you've got no good answer then just rant loudly. You could tell during the budget itself that Dave and that Osborne twit were worried, it was written all over their chubby little faces. I predict that a poll will have shown a Labour lead by the end of the weekend. Edited March 24, 2010 by nowthenagain

Timm
Good response from Cameron. Reminds me of the speech that stopped Brown calling the election. All to play for now I guess. billybong
Commons 90% empty now that TVs switched away. Clegg's making a few reasonable points but his speech echoes around an almost empty chamber. They are such a bunch of overpaid layabouts.
Democorruptcy
Capital Gains Tax left at 18% so high earners can evade tax. Not a murmur from the Tories at that.
