justanewbie
"Gordon Brown has issued a statement, suddenly at 2pm today, announcing his retirement at the age of 54. "I am happy to retire at this time, in view of the record I leave behind," he is quoted as saying outside 10 Downing Street, accompanied by his wife. Commenting on the early age at which he is retiring, Mr Brown said, "I have re-calculated the beginning of my working life. I feel it began when I started school, at the age of five. So, this is now the end of the cycle of my working life and I am going." Loud cheers erupted from waiting crowds, punctuated by comments which cannot be reported for legal reasons. aclwalker
Maybe we should leak it to the press?Anybody have any No.11 downing street stationary?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He actually lives at number 10 does he not, cos 11 is bigger and Blair couldn't keep his thingy in his trousers and needed the bigger number 11 to live in for his growing family. He probably still uses number 11 stationery though, so my hilarious take on the living arrangements of our finest two is kinda irrelevant.
