Boe Report Casts Doubt On Further Rate Cuts

Recommended Posts

Welcome 2 housepricecrash!!!

Oh btw..what do you think of the article I posted??

This article helps explains why the pound has gained strength. I'd been confused about that. I thought the pound would be falling by now, due to the BOE's drop in interest rates and the U.S.'s coninued increase in its rates.

By following the currency markets in recent weeks, I'm left believing that they seem to accurately predict interest rate shifts several weeks in advance. (Right now, for example, the markets seem to be assuming what this article says--that the BOE isn't going to drop rates further in the near future.) Are currency traders just guessing correctly or do the markets reveal some prior inside knowledge?
