Bricks And Mortar

Property editor Catherine Riley seems to be changing her tune somewhat these days.

Today she bangs on about the plight of FTBs, particularly in rural areas, and clearly says this IS NOT a good time to buy.

She concludes:

The more savvy first-timer might well ask why on earth, if prices are falling, with no upward correction in sight, they should in fact buy a property now. First-time buyers may not be wealthy, but neither are they stupid.

A distinct change in tone.
