I'm Gobsmacked - Radio 4 - 5pm News

Recommended Posts

Just been travelling home and listening to the news on Radio 4. There was an announcement about the cut in interest rates by the BOE. Thought that was it and then they introduced a guy on I think from Capital Economics, the broadcaster actually said the words "Do you think there will be a house price crash", I was gobsmacked.

The guy to be fair put a very good point across of why the housing market was due for adjustment. He sort of contridicted the figures Halifax and Nationwide have published, saying that the housing market figures are actually worse than they are saying.

Its the first time I have heard the BBC mention HPC and having someone who actually contradicted the Vi's, now I must say thats very impressive.

Apologies - Just realised someone posted this before me.
