Anyone Got Any Questions About Uk Property Prices?

Recommended Posts

today at 1pm there will be a Q&A for a UK property expert at

this link as a feature from the Financial Times.

Might be worth asking him some questions.

Tony Benn always said

"What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? How do we get rid of you?"

I guess we should ask him

What property investments have you got?

Where did you get them from?

In whose interests do you exercise your authority?

To whom are you accountable?

I've asked:

Why do the government want so desperately to keep house prices high?

Do you think it is in the countries best interest keeping average house prices at 8 times the average wage when the norm is around 3.5 to 4 times?

Douglas McWilliams: No. Until the supply of housing is increased to cope with demand, I’m afraid that the high price of housing in the UK is largely not a bubble but the reflection of a supply demand imbalance.

"until the supply of housing is increased"

Then why are the eatate agents full of properties they cant sell?
