Ouch - Total Sales Value Fall Off

Recommended Posts

Just been doing some research. Thought it would be interesting to look at total sales value in my area rather than average prices / volume.

Nearly fell off my chair - I knew the market had slowed dramatically, but this is incredible:

Q1 2005: 5.4 million

Q4 2004: 9.6 million

Q3 2004: 19.3 million

Q2 2004: 16 million

Q1 2004: 14.5 million

This is just for my post code area in west london. Lovely area, shame prices for a 1 bed flat have gone from 65k average in Q1 2000 to 140k in Q4 2004.
