It's my contention that the rises in prices seen recently are due to people with cash buying.

People with cash buying prefer more expensive property in more expensive postcodes.

If I'm right, then the following would be true:

- Properties of a specific type (eg terraces) in the land registry would show more sales recently in postcodes that have historically been more expensive than other postcodes

I haven't the time to write the scripts to grok the land registry db to prove and was hoping that someone else would have the time/inclination to do this.
