Have looked at this article from last March re: Mortgage Fraud/Liar Loans/Predatory Lending..... It is essential reading - and lets you know that there are, literally, TRILLIONS of TRILLIONS of MASSIVE Toxic Debts sitting out there, festering, and no one wants to look at them....

swampy,

i presume you mean 10 ft walls. if they were 10", the criminals will be able to step straight over it. reminds me of spinal tap.

10ins is fine...these chumps have their heads firmly in the KOW TOW position and crawling as low as possible to impress the tax payer bailers.

the first to stand up and admit the problem will have his head chopped off.....as it should be.

They're aren't being ignored. They are being put onto the public balance sheet so the crooks who made them don't have to face their responsibilities.

Thanks for that. Here is a quote from CNN dating back to 2004 for those too busy to read the article.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Rampant fraud in the mortgage industry has increased so sharply that the FBI warned Friday of an "epidemic" of financial crimes which, if not curtailed, could become "the next S&L crisis."

While the article is interessting it is also very much of its time.... the worlds moved on quite a bit since then, we are not through it yet by a long chalk but neither are we in the midst of something uncontrollable any more. people will have looked at these debts by now and wether they have actually been marked down fully or not is nether here nor there really.

Whether loans are viable is 'neither here nor there' - you'll have to explain a bit more to convince me.

Yeah!:blink: - You sure do have to explain this a bit more.....

The idea that whether loans are viable is 'neither here of there' IS THE REASON we have had Enron, LIAR LOANS, The "Credit Crunch" [etc.].....

I'm afraid it is VERY MUCH "here" mate...
