You Know You're An Evil Capitalist When ...

Recommended Posts

More headlines today about disasters in the Asia-Pacific region, and one thought that flashes across my mind is "have my investments suffered". Oops! Well, I guess I'm only half-way to being a true Evil Capitalist: it wasn't my first thought, and it didn't occur to me at all until today, even after yesterday's earthquake/tsunami news.

I shall have to atone the Evil Capitalist way, by contributing to some suitable disaster relief appeal. Having had a bonus(!) in my August pay-packet, I had already budgeted that for charitable contributions, and I guess this looks like a specific cause to support.

Anyone else want to confess to being an Evil Capitalist?

I was excited because of the scientific data it would yield.

Does that make me an evil mad scientist?

Consultant Dr Edward Erin, 44, of Kensington, west London, was found guilty of administering poison to procure a miscarriage and trying to administer poison, in what is believed to be only the second such prosecution in 40 years.

...

...

Erin and his wife, who met at the University of Wales, own a successful property lettings empire.

And despite his conviction, Erin is likely to remain a wealthy man.

I've said it before, never ever ever trust BTL scum-bags. There is something deeply wrong with people who choose to farm other people for rent.

A developer has been jailed for life for murdering a tenant who got in the way of a £2m property deal.

I think that qualifies!

Papalexis was described as a playboy property developer who led the lifestyle of a millionaire in Florida, throwing expensive parties, hiring designer Gianni Versace's former home and holding a fundraiser for the US secretary of state Hillary Clinton.

But an American prostitute said he had confessed to the murder, leading to his extradition to face trial in Britain.

socialists can be philandering playboys too!
