2005 Labour Party Manifesto "britain Forward Not Back"

Recommended Posts

As Gordon Brown enters the final stages of his mental decline, a time to reflect.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs...r_manifesto.pdf

Including such gems as:

"Empowering communities against anti-social behaviour" (try explaining that to the relatives of Fiona Pilkington).

"Labour’s economic record is unprecedented" (Err?).

"We will put it to the British people in a referendum and campaign whole-heartedly for a ‘Yes’ vote to keep Britain

a leading nation in Europe" (Sorry missed that one).

Every single wheel has now fallen off the NuLabour bandwagon.

Even their once triumphalistic rallying song, D:reams's "it can only get better", is now nothing more than a bitter lament.

Surely you cannot be implying failure?

Fiona Pilkington was not a community, therefore she has not been failed.

Labour's record on the economy is unique.

The Lisbon Treaty is not the Constitution, but we did send a few members of the party to deliver leaflets in Dublin for the Yes camp.
