That is true, unlike fiat money property will never reach a value of zero. However, the caveat is that if you purchase property using debt (traditionally a mortgage) you are unlikely to be in a position to service that debt to termination. The timescales are too long and the world economy (and fiat money systems) too volatile. Buy property, "yes", have debt, "no".

Tangible items are becoming an insurance policy against the continuing devaluation of the world's currencies, the question is back to that old chestnut, inflation/deflation?
