Nulabour Looking For Another War

Recommended Posts

I strongly suspect that this will prove to be an opportune moment for China and Russia to flex their muscles by telling us to f**k off if we're thinking of starting yet another war.

I really hope so.

Unless we are invading toy town, then this would be really worrying.

Does anyone know if Noddy and Big ears have WMD.

And there's the economic aspect to think about too, the periods of re-armament running up to wars are generally periods of growth after all.

If that's the case, why are they suggesting reducing our trident capability, still working on the "peace dividend" defence budget, and made export licences to places like the US virtually impossible??

Given obama's marxist tendencies, and his decision to reduce missile defence capability in europe,I would think that it would be prudent to spend quite a sizeable chunk more on our defence than on the welfare state. We don't live in tellytubbyland...period.

if needs be welfare state recipients can be thrown into the meat grinder if things get nasty....so 2-for-1 bonus.

Why the **** do you think the US/UK have made all those wars since the end of the cold war? Of course it's for the armaments industries!

Even before the financial industry went into meltdown, armaments were our only other world-leading industry of any consequence. Now it's even more essential we keep up a range of high-profile trade shows!

Because unlike other weapons, trident isn't something they want to export to every mad tyrant who'll pay good money.

Obama came into ffice in the back of the unpopularity of Bush and his misadventures in Iraq. I really can't see him being up for storming into Iran.

No they have none. But that shouldn't stop us making up some fake documents! They do have oil though, so we ought to invade on that false premise.
