Jobs lost = less people to pay = profit!

thats the Bloomberg take on the stock market boom.

shame they forget that to make profits the firms need customers to buy things.

Production is being moved to another Harman plant in Hungary. The US conglomerate blamed the decision on falling demand and a weak economic outlook.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another company rushing for the low pay culture.

What a statement, don't they realise that moving to a another low pay country weakens their markets even more, as more companies are doing this civilised economics start to spiral downwards, MELTDOWN.

No they don't!

I get the impression that an already beleagured manufacturing sector is bearing the brunt of the recovery. Does anyone have any figures breaking down job losses by sector?

But it could have been so much worse.

Just imagine what the Welsh economy would have been like if the WAG hadn't spent millions holding big footie and cricket matches in Cardiff to raise the profile of Wales.

And at least Newport will soon become a beacon of peace and prosperity due to the Ryder Cup.

They have no clue.

They have no business experience.

Is this the luxury car stereo loudspeaker place?

Made me laugh on the news when I was down there yesterday when they said "the Assembly were looking into the proposals, given that the company had not made them aware that closure was likely".

WTF!

Since when does a company have to ask a legislative body permission to close down a plant!

I think they should coil up in their enclosures and leave the assembly to someone else.
