I like the NuLabour grasp of economics in the article.

Funding gap? Put up prices, of course, not realising that depending on price elasticity you might reduce your revenue by putting up prices.

It is the same thinking that says raising taxes to 50% will bring in revenue. It might not - it might reduce it.

It is actually feasible that any enterprise, including the tube, might become unaffordable and be shut or sold to someone that can run it more efficiently.

It appears that NuLabour economic policy has infected the Tories, Boris Johnson wasn't Nulabour the last time I check. :P

The system has failed the high cost economy trajectory chosen by our idiots in power will destroy us all.

To me, the tories are socialists - just a different set of client spongers. :lol:

And I always think of NuLabour as just another bunch of neo-liberal, wealth worshipping Tories. :lol:
