Pint Of Guinness?

Recommended Posts

Guinness.jpg

Anyone having a pint of the black stuff today?

http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/breaki...4/breaking5.htm

I shall be picking up a few tins on the way home

Did you know Guinness has less calories than skimmed milk?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinness

Guinness only contains 198 kcal (838 kilojoules) per imperial pint (1460 kJ/l),[15] fewer than skimmed milk or orange juice and most other non-light beers.

If only I had drank more guinness and less lager over the years ;)

You have to hand it to the Guinness marketing team, I had never heard of this before this year yet here we are discussing it and it was on several radio shows today. Good work.

indeed, good marketing by diageo

(says quietly) diageo marketed bushmills 400th year anniversary not so long ago, but it turns out there may have been some err artistic license

Reraise you wouldnt have heard of it before this year because it is to celbrate the 250yr anniversary. Why else would there be so much emphasis on the whole 17:59 thing!?

You didnt celebrate your 21st birthday when you were 20 did you!

Didn't realise it was the 250th anniversary, in any case they did well.

If you want a good laugh type 'best guinness ad ever' into youtube.

Not suitable for children. Though I would doubt if children would understand it.

Some adults don't understand it. I had to explain it to my girlfriend.
