Is he about to transfer some debt, err sorry wealth onto some unwitting sucker? Why C4 promote these people is a mystery. Not exactly a captain of industry.

I seem to remember the first series was actually quite good.

But seemingly a few years later, the calibre of 'secret millionaires' is sraping the barrel somewhat.

Quote from rubbish get rich quick its easy ya know website

Discover how Kevin went from a diary farmer to being worth £29,000,000 in eight years!

His website doesn't mention how much debt he has though. If it is £29,000,000 then he is worth jack sh!t.

If he is anything like as wealthy as the Secret Millionaire Chek Whyte was when he appeared on the programme last year then he will be bankrupt soon.

don't know him but he does seem to have quite a

Rubbish website

[

Yes, his website is truly abominable.

"Kevin Green went from doing something productive with his life to exploiting the poor with the help of a government sponsered, socially divisive ponzi scheme"

"Hi I'm Kevin Green, look how pleased I am with myself"

I dislike oxygen wasters like this because they think that their generosity (to all of 0.23% of their *alleged* 'worth') is newsworthy (or worse, 'inspiring tv') ...

... and he made his money by being a landlord, not by being directly involved in producing things (unlike the other folks he is web-snapped next to.

And he must be thinking people are a real mug if they are prepared to spend 200 GBP on a 'product' (his oxygen wasting blatherings) on a site that - to be honest - a 14 yr old could put together in the few minutes after finishing his homework.

Perhaps the IT room at this kid's halfway house could be used ... well, for something more important than the sad selfishness of Kevin's site ...

A challenge to Kevin: treble the money you donate on the show ... each year ... every year ... a tiny cut of the profits you are going to make in the coming years, surely? You will never know the difference ... if you really are worth what you claim.

Millionaire is cleared of bribery

Kevin Green

Kevin Green was cleared of corruption over the cash donation

A property developer who left an envelope containing £5,000 cash for a council chief executive has been found not guilty of attempted bribery.

Multi-millionaire Kevin Green, 43, of Burry Port, told Carmarthen Crown Court he had been "naive" over the donation of £20 notes for a swimming pool.

The envelope, marked "strictly private and confidential" was left for Carmarthenshire Council's Mark James.

Speaking after he was cleared Mr Green said "justice has been done".

He added: "I feel it should never have been brought to trial."

The father-of-three said the case had had a "huge" impact on his family.

He said: "It's been extremely difficult - it's been a mental battle in the worry of the whole trial."

But he added he did not "blame" anyone.

During the trial, the court had heard that on 2 September last year Mr Green had visited county hall to finalise arrangements for a meeting he was due to have the following week with Mr James to discus land he co-owned at Travellers Rest near Carmarthen.

Mark James, chief executive of Carmarthenshire Council

Chief executive Mark James told his assistant to call the police

As he left he handed an envelope marked "private and confidential" to Mr James' personal assistant Liz Thomas.

When she opened it later in the day she found it contained £5,000 in £20 notes but there was nothing else inside.

Mr James called the chief constable of Dyfed-Powys Police and Mr Green was arrested that night.

Mr Green, a former dairy farmer who rents out properties in Llanelli, Kidwelly and Carmarthen, said the money was intended as a donation towards the refurbishment of Carmarthen leisure centre.

He said he was "indebted to the pool" because swimming lessons there had helped improve his children's' confidence, which had been hit while he and his wife were going through a divorce.

Unanimous verdict

He accepted he had been "naive" in not leaving a covering note but had denied the charge of corruption.

"I made a mistake - I should have left a note," he told the jury.

The prosecution case had been that money was intended to "tempt" Mr James into looking favourably at Mr Green's plans for the land.

After more than four hours of deliberation the jury returned a unanimous not-guilty verdict.

In a statement issued after the case Carmarthenshire council said: "The court has found Mr Green not guilty of corruption but the council hopes that the court action in itself will serve as a lesson that the council will act upon any suspicion or suggestion of alleged corruption.

"The council applauds the chief executive's actions and those of its senior officers in acting quite properly in referring the matter to the police immediately they were made aware of the situation."

Bible says something along the lines >

If you are going to give/do something for charity - you should not brag about it coz all your efforts are then really for your own publicity/self aggrandisement!

This negates the original idea/plan to "help others" (not yourself)

Common mistake, you have £5,000 in £20 notes and you put it into an envelope and forget to include any details or words, at all;

no words or names or who it came from.

This is of course your donation to the Carmarthen leisure centre. Because they can sense that somehow, they don't need to know

where you wanted £5,000 in £20 notes to go, they just knew it must be the Carmarthen leisure centre, the only place £5,000 in

£20 notes could be sent.
