Guest UK Debt Slave
Spotted this in The Grauniad this morning and I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2009/se...world-statesman The comments section is also worth a read. Seems like not all of those Guardian reading lefty types are as enamoured with Gorderon as Nufascist likes to believe. Gordon Brown may be trailing in the polls at home, but in the US last night he was hailed as a hero for "stabilising" the world economy and showing "compassionate leadership". Rock star Bono, Queen Rania of Jordan, and the Israeli defence minister Ehud Barak were among the audience as Kissinger praised Brown for his "vision and dedication" in handling the world economic crisis. Endorsed by the famous mass murderer Kissenger. How nice And Bono......FEKK OFF YOU TOSSER!

blankster
Gordon Brown Honoured In New York, ...............as world statesman of the yearThat says more about the quality of world politicians in general than it does about Mr. Brown. KingBingo
You must remember that the New York liberals are every bit as loony as our hard left. After all, Times magazine appointed Hitler man of the year two years running. They loved his National Socialism. Celebrating another dictatorial socialist is just their thing. http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/sty...e_types/gif.gif http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/sty...e_types/gif.gif
billybong
The foundation praised Brown's "compassionate leadership in dealing with the challenging issues facing humanity, his commitment to freedom, human dignity and the environment, and for the major role he has played in helping to stabilise the world's financial system". Obama has praised Gordon integrity as the two men vowed to work together to tackle the "unprecedented" global recession. They just go on and on. You would think they could have put something in about all his generosity to pension savers as well.
