Best Anti-brown Cartoon Of The Year!

Recommended Posts

In my opinion this is the best anti-Brown cartoon of the year.

And the funniest too! To laugh out loud!

Take a look at it, then put your comments in this thread please.

We must help this YouTube cartoon be a “most viewedâ€. It deserves it.

And Gordon Brown deserves it too!

If you agree, please send the link above to as much people as possible!

Cheers,

The sound quality was fine here.

The Elephant? For the joke!

Im sorry, but the elephant "doing" gordon clearly prevented clear answers that could be rationalised.

and the blue peter rerun on the historian...he hadnt finished his argument...where is John Noakes when you need him?

Elephant?

Edit to add: this made me cry with laughter. Thanks for the post.

Are we talking about the same thing? It is a 4 minutes long cartoon, with sound - music, questions, answers, etc. Isn't the link working well for you, or the YouTube site not working well with your computer?

You are being treated to what I believe is called in the vernacular "HPC irony" M'lud. Proceed?

Very good.

Great bit of satire and hats off to the creator for the work and wit that went into it.

It had 400 views yesterday, now up to >4000.

Thank you Chute! Finally!

I was starting to feel a little twilight zone, weird, like "nobody else is seeing what I am seing?!"

(Bad memories from the previous one from 2005 to 2007!)

Is that avatar really necessary?

Use firefox adblock, works great for avatars too.

As for the cartoon it is a quality piece of work.

Elephant in the room:

"An important and obvious topic, which everyone present is aware of, but which isn't discussed, as such discussion is considered to be uncomfortable."

Exactly! Brilliant work.

If the YouTube's viewing numbers goes up enough then the main media may mention it, and from then onwards it will be huge. Up to now about 400 people saw this thread. But I don't know how many will actually click the link. Or how many will send the link to friends. Lets hope!

And if it becomes political news, then Brown may have to see it... Ah... <sigh>

I see. Ok then.

Well, it works to keep the thread on the Forum's front page.

I just want to help this cartoon making the political news!

(I really really really dislike Gordon Brown. Really.)

Agree entirely. Childish humour. What a waste of a great opportunity.

The author was better than most British media (BBC included) in listing perfectly the 4 main political-economic causes of this crisis:

1) Central banks keeping interest rates too low for too long (Greenspan and Brown);

2) Property buyers being too... unwise.

3) Bank executives being dishonest.

4) Gordon Brown's central role in it.

The BBC (our Public SECTOR Broadcasting) keeps implying that the government is a innocent victim of a "world" financial crises, caused by America and bankers - and not by the Labour Government.

The "childlike" cartoon style was a good counter-point to this.
