loginandtonic Posted September 17, 2009 Share Posted September 17, 2009 what brings this subject to mind is i was being served by a fairly attractive for her age (40+) female post office clerk the other week + when she was asking me about my package's value she asked: "anything fanciable er i mean fanciful er i mean, i mean valuable?" first time a woman has directly or indirectly indicated an attraction towards me in many a year [blush], but i wonder how these things come out. no doubt at all that she never meant to say it, she looked very flustered as she tried to correct herself + regain the correct word flow.
