Swine Flu - Its Red Alert Time

Recommended Posts

Have you noticed that there are fewer reports of Swine Flu (H1N1) around over summer. Were there not reports that by the end of August up 20,000 people in the UK would be dropping down dead.

As usual media sensationalism, however the especially wet summer has had an affect.

How many barbecues have you been too ?

When did you and your extended (not close circle) friends socialise.

The wet weather has meant we have just ignored the rain and the cold and called the weather man a t4sser, whenever he says tomorrow will be better and you guessed it, its not.

For the next few days at least we are expecting fairly pleasant weather. If this continues into the weekend, where temperatures may hit 26 celius then people will mix and swine flu can transmit.

Add that to the students starting and returning to university next week and we will see a spike in cases.

In the office I work in 4 of us were off with either suspected or confirmed swine flu in June. I was one of them, I called my GP, who practically accused me of lying over the phone. Disgusted I went to the surgery and made sure I coughed over everyone. I remember saying "Dont worry, the Doc says I havent got swine flu, but I wait here until he can be f4cking bothered to examine me". It took 3 minute 24 secs to see the Doc.

3 minutes for the b1tch of a receptionist to pluck up the strength to get off her lardy ar5e and 24 seconds to walk from the waiting room to the Doctors office.

He confirmed I didnt have swine flu, but I did have seasonal flu.

As cases rise, expect to be met with a brick wall. Hospitals dont want you, your GP doesnt want you. Stay at home they say.

The cost to the office was a weeks shutdown. The cost to economy could keep us in recession for the forseeable future and even force small business to close. Its that serious.

However do not fear, we are a broad church at housepricecrash.co.uk and we have a link where you can get tamiflu on the same day. This website has been setup by the nhs to diagnose swine flu over web by assesing your symptons. Dont overdo it, just say your ill and they will give you an authorisation number.

heres the link https://www.pandemicflu.direct.gov.uk/Default.aspx

I say get now while your not ill, so when you are ill in the next few weeks or months, you can just start taking the drugs.

Forward thinking will save you a lot of hassle.

I live on the east coast and we have had a fantastic summer, very little rain and buckets of sunshine.. it's been warm enough to be wandering around in shorts pretty much since May.

Hopefully you exaggerate, otherwise you risked infecting lots of people with your flu just to make a point about a doctor. Which would be a really stupid thing to do.

He confirmed I didnt have swine flu, but I did have seasonal flu.

How did he know? Did he do a test?

I recently had a relatively mild case of flu. Milder than when I had seasonal flu in 2006, but it lingered for longer. Would be a right hassle if it turned out to be seasonal flu and not the piggy sniffles after all that.

No I didnt exaggerate. The only way to get things done in this country is direct action. If you dont like it, tough.

I forgot to add, what is my point about a Doctor. My point is my Doctor earns £100,000 a year and doesnt give a sh1t about his patients. By turning up, I made sure he did give a sh1t.

Different temperatures in the ear, or so he said. Swine flu has a slightly higher temperature than seasonal flu and does last longer and it is not always as severe. All flu raises temperature though.

OK that sounds promising then because I had a raging fever when I had the flu recently Never experienced a temperature like it before. Unlike when I had glandular fever, I didn't sweat this time. I just roasted.

I also didn't have fatigue to the same extent this time, but far more of a sore throat.

Sorry but deliberately risking giving flu to those who might have other conditions is not guerilla style direct action, it's childish self indulgence. Anyway I assume you exaggerate cos deliberately coughing over people would get you a slap, at least where I come from
