bearwithasorehead
On BBC site today http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8242274.stm Wondered why Redditch, surely it's a bit of a dump, so why would people be overleveraged there, or is that the point, its real value as a location is being priced in now? Just wondered.
River Man
Redditch is a dump. I once met someone from there on holiday who told me that Birmingham (where I'm from) was an absolute hellhole and they wouldn't go there in a million years. I grew up in Edgbaston and then Harborne. I wondered to myself whether anyone in Redditch could even imagine places as pleasant as this.

I wondered to myself whether anyone in Redditch could even imagine places as pleasant as this. I grew up in Sutton Coldfield and live in Redditch, and can confirm it is a complete dump. As is most of "Brum". Nick
