Dave Cameron Thinks We're Stupid

Recommended Posts

From the Blue blog today:

This week was the seventieth anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War. It's a time to remember all those who fought, died and sacrificed for Britain. But it's a time, too, to remember the lessons.

Some of those lessons apply in Afghanistan today. We're fighting a ferocious war and after eight years there still seems to be no end in sight. Our troops lack vital equipment, especially helicopters. Many people want Ministers to explain more clearly what our troops are fighting for. And that anxiety is now really affecting the Government, with the resignation of an aide to the Defence Secretary. It's clear we cannot go on as we are.

We need to make it clear to the British people why we're in Afghanistan. It's simple - to stop terrorism here in Britain. We must help the Afghans to stop their country from once again hosting the world's most dangerous terrorists. So we need to train and equip the Afghan army to root out terrorists, and to support them until they can do this for themselves.

What a fecking idiot!

And Cameron's a picture of sense. I think not.

it's never ending. When will the UK get the chance to vote in a bunch of regular people, not disappearing up their own backsides?

Yes, I heard Vera Lynn say that, too.

And, of course terrorists don't live in any other part of the World do they?

Such as Pakistan; Iran; Yemen; Egypt; Syria; Jordan; Indonesia: Thailand; to name but a few..........

We need to make it clear to the British people why we're in Afghanistan. It's simple - to stop terrorism here in Britain

Err.........not quite.

There is the little matter of the oil and gas pipeline from the Caspian Sea: where the only other viable and cogent route just happens to be through Iran.

Which, of course, has nothing whatsoever to do with the core dynamics of why Britain continues to sacrifice service personnel.

Allowing, it seems, all and sundry from wherever to flood into Britain through ferry ports and airports thanks to wholly incompetent immigration authorities also has nothing to do with terrorism either.

A People's Parliament by Keith Sutherland.

He advocates reviving the Athenian system where MP'S are drawn from the general population by lots. I like that idea. Like a massive bout of well paid jury service.

Quite frankly, I'd rather have some old etonians in charge than a few hundred people randomly chosen from the British Public, considering how stupid, ignorant, puerile, illiterate, inumerate, superstitious, shallow, greedy, fat, smelly, and celebrity-obssesed the British Public is as a whole.

No thanks.

Probably, the only cogent way forward out of the current morass, is for those living in any electoral ward to elect a "Representative" who might freely espouse their views, aspiriations and objectives?

And to strictly limit the time they can serve.

Perhaps it could be like National Service: employers compelled to allow time off from work; and representatives paid precisely what they were earning before plus legitimate and essential expenses only.

Additionally, instead of allowing parliament to become involved in 99% of everything and interfere in this, we urgently need to once more, confer significant power and decision making to local authorities.

Thereafter, if one doesn't like the way a local area is run at least then one has the option of moving elsewhere.

Would that be at all like a Councillor?

Our Middle Eastern Foreign Policy is the core of the problem the west faces today.

If we wanted to sort out this whole mess and stamp out Islamic extremism, atone for the sins of our past and in a nutshell do what is just and right, then we (and the USA) should be using our military might to smash the dangerous, theocratic, WMD-toting, oppressive, terrorist, ethnic cleansing 'democracy' of Israel.

Israel and the West's blind support for it's arrogant, extremist, colonial, violent and racist agenda is the crux of all this 'terrorism' nonsense.

Soon it'll be war on Iran. The Israeli's have been pushing for it for ages, that is the reason Netanyahu was in Europe recently, to drum up support. It's all totally out of control and will drive the world into WW3, except this time we'll be the bad guys.

Today the Israeli parliament voted to continue building settlements on Palestinian land in defiance of Obama's 'toothless' objections. Obama's opposition is only words anyway and will not be backed by action in the withdrawal of US aid to Israel and they know this so they can act with impunity in the most disgusting manner. The Israeli government IS the US government!

The US needs a revolution to release their nation from the grip of the foreign power that controls it by proxy through US big finance and business. Then the world will stop hating the USA.

Unfortunately too few people know the truth because we are never told about the creation of the state of Israel or it's history. We're just endlessly fed bias about Palestinian terrorists (freedom fighters) and constantly reminded about the holocaust to engender sympathy for a nation that systemically oppresses the innocent Palestinians in a manner so similar to what the Jews suffered at the hands of the Nazis that it would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic.

Terrorism. Made in Israel with support from the USA and UK.

Unfortunately too few people know the truth because we are never told about the creation of the state of Israel or it's history.

Indeed.

Since whenever one endeavours to take pragmatic and reasoned issue on these points, one is instantly labelled with the pejorative "Anti-Semite"!

As with the much abused words "Racist" and "Racism", they are all clever and devious ways to end open and honest attempts at debate.
