Darling Turns Tory!

Recommended Posts

Either:

- there's no more money left in the pot

- Darling has been wanting to say this all along but has only been able to now that it's the end days of Labour and Brown's authority is gone

-They are using it as a trap to goad the Tories into revealing their cuts

Eh?

I don't get it.

The priority would, he said, be troops on the ground rather than expensive hardware. “It is absolutely essential that if we are putting people on the front line in Afghanistan and they are risking their lives that they are properly equipped and we will make sure that happens.â€

So he wants more troops and he also wants to cut spending on equipment for the troops.

But he is going to that by making sure all the troops are properly equipped.

With what? Waving their todger around and an NVQ in using harsh language?

I thought the original plan was to save the economy by making some mysterious "efficiency" savings.

Actually, this is a good article. Sounds like NuLabour can no longer maintain their lies!
