Media Coverage

Recommended Posts

Subby,

Has anyone tryed to contact media ie Talkback Stephen Nolan Belfast Tele etc re this as i think it would help to highlight

what people are being put through by builders, estate agents etc. I have heard in the grapevine that some valuations already done have come in between 20 and 30% short of price so it would be interesting to hear a responce from builders as to what people are meant to do when they are point blank refused a mortgage??? I think some sort of coverage would be welcome from media as im sure the bulk of people would be willing to complete at independent valuation price or at least open doors to some sort of comprise from builders as this simply now seems to be an impossible situation for both parties. At the end of the day the builders will need funds to move to nxt stage of dev so if so many people cant complete then surely they have to try and accomodate the buyer in some way otherwise the whole development could fall flat on its face or at least take much longer to complete than current delays. Any suggestions???

I presume you are talking about people who contracted, off plan at close to peek prices and can't get a mortgage now for that contracted price.
