Will Brown Go Down In The History Books As The Worst Pm Ever?

Recommended Posts

leaving us £1 trn in debt by the time he leaves

squandered all the money in the boom and left us nearly bust

undoubtedly worst PM ever

His biggest crime in my book is actually getting people to miss Blair.....!

Will he be the only one never to have actually won an election in the capacity of PM?

He's not my PM, thats for sure. That the man holds the office of PM is a disgrace to democracy. He should hang his head in shame.

The biggest crime is the patsy media in this country, what a bunch of cowards, he should be the laughing stock, but no, why because he dictates what they report!

as a FTB i can never forgive the way he has tried to prop up house prices. I wouldn't mind him otherwise i think his hearts probably in the right place but he's not aware of how much damage high house prices has done to this country.

No, I can think of Alec Douglas-Home and Jim Callaghan.

No chance - Margaret Thatcher stands head and shoulders above the opposition for worst PM ever.

He reminds me of Eastenders, makes you glad you are you and not anyone else... He is everything I am not. He is easily the most hated PM ever, including the ones that haven't been elected yet. ;)

I dont know what you mean.

This is the man who has singlehandly saved the World's financial system and raised millions of hard working British families out of poverty. What is a few £billion between friends.

No, he´ll go down as being pretty inconsequential. Similar rating to John Major.

John Major had also been Chancellor and left the economy is slightly better shape, which McDoom was able to inherit.

I feel sorry for anyone inheriting Brown's mess.

quite surprised his ratings arent in single digits

an unelected jock (im a jock myself, cant stand him)

Exactly. Everytime he opens his mouth i cant listen to him, all i see is a fraud.

That even his low poll ratings are still ratings shows people in this country will happily accept a despotic dictator so long as it is done quietly.

More importantly he was the worst Chancellor in history.

Why was Brown, who by his own admission couldn't do Arithmetic, allowed to run the country's finances for ten years?

They say politicians are very jealous of their place in history.

His will be that of the man who bankrupted Britain and reduced it to below first-world levels of wealth/education, while elevating the wealthy to heights not enjoyed since the days of the robber barons.

All this by a Labour politician. Once he's out of power it wouldn't surprise me if he topped himself.

MacMillan was a good prime minister. But Gordon Brown's reputation is already blown and that's not a good start for the History books. Judgement of politicians is best done when they are under ground and pushing up the daisies. It's a bit more dificult for them to sue from there, they have to get past Satan
