Tax Abuser Of The Week

Recommended Posts

This week we are told that public sector employees and particularly the NHS have vastly higher sick leave levels than the private sector. Sadly they did not publish the Bradford score.. That would have made interesting reading.

We have listened to the weasel words of people trying to justify these shameful results. I can save them the bother. The link between reward and performance has been abandonded in the public sector. Recruitment and promotion is now based on nepotism, political prejudice and arbitary targets. In an environment of overstaffing, poor leadership and dissafected employees, can the high levels of sick leave come as any surprise.
