Anyone Seen An A Rated House?

Every house Ive seen on notrightmove has been in the bottom half of the graph, D or E

Anyone seen an A or a B

I was just wondering how an A was acheived really.

No but I presume it is like an A rated Car, an eco friendly nightmare...

IMHO my guess at an A rated house would be:

Totally airtight house with a Heat Exchanger to get fresh warm air into the house, airlocks to get inside and out.

Totally off-grid, no need to pay for gas water and electricity:

lots of solar panels (PV and Water)

a wind turbine

own water clearning plant

Biofriendly waste cleaning ponds

and finally carbon offset by buying carbon credits to offset the environmental cost of building/built out of recycled paper...
